Corridors, quotes, locked amounts, and slippage reserves define how this product works.

Core Concepts

Corridor

A corridor specifies the source currency, destination country, and payout method. It determines:

  1. Which payee fields are required, through a dynamic field schema
  2. How rates and fees are calculated
  3. When funds are expected to arrive

Use GET /v1/remit/corridors to retrieve currently available corridors. Do not cache them for more than a day; upstream maintenance can temporarily disable a corridor.

Quote

A quote is a time-limited commitment to a rate and a set of fees at a particular moment.

有效期 75 秒

Once it expires, obtain another; an expired quote cannot be used to place an order. This is not unnecessary caution: the rate may change during those 75 seconds, and we bear the difference.

Locked Amount and Slippage Reserve

When an order is placed, we lock funds from the member's balance. The amount is slightly greater than the member's payment shown in the quote; the difference is the slippage reserve:

锁定额 = 会员实付 + 滑点预留

Why it exists: time passes between order creation and actual upstream payout, during which exchange rates can change. Too little reserve requires member reconfirmation, an inconvenient experience; too much unnecessarily ties up their funds.

Any excess locked amount is returned to its original source at settlement.

Status Version

Orders include status_version. Merge status changes only in the forward direction:

if (incoming.status_version > local.status_version) apply(incoming)

without this rule, a slow response can overwrite Funds arrived with Processing after the user has already seen completion.
