Supplementary documents and reconfirmation are two reasons an order pauses for human action. Neither automatically times out into a refund.

Find out where an order is paused and what it needs.
1. Supplementary Documents
Compliance requires more information. The response provides a hosted submission link, where the member uploads on our page; document images do not pass through your service.
2. Reconfirmation
The price changed beyond the slippage reserve. The member must accept the new price:
POST /v1/remittances/{id}/reconfirm
Reconfirmation replaces the cost basis with a new locked amount and fees. It may require additional member funds; if the balance is insufficient, this step fails and the order remains awaiting reconfirmation.
Neither Automatically Times Out into a Refund
⚠ Contrary to common expectations, review states do not automatically refund. Funds remain locked
until the member acts or you request cancellation.
An automatic refund would be unsafe here: upstream processing may already be underway, and refunded funds cannot be recovered afterward. To abandon the order, explicitly call POST /v1/remittances/{id}/cancel。

- Both must state that funds remain locked; otherwise users may believe their money has disappeared
