Orders queued for insufficient prepayment (counts / by asset / oldest order)

GET /v1/merchant/pending scope: merchant:read
Merchant account

Under the merchant-hosted custody model, members can fail to transact despite sufficient balances because your prepaid reserve is insufficient. Member-facing messages deliberately conceal that reason and return only service_unavailable. This is therefore the only place in the flow that explicitly indicates you need to replenish funds.

Queued orders have not locked any funds: neither member balances nor your prepayment have been frozen. After you replenish funds, the periodic sweep advances them automatically. Orders not advanced within pending_ttl_hours, default 24 hours, are cancelled.

Processing is FIFO, not smallest-affordable-first. Otherwise a large order could be starved indefinitely while remaining in the queue and being skipped on every sweep. Use oldest_pending_since to identify the longest wait.

One row per business line × asset. Lines with no queued orders are omitted. An empty array means the queue is empty, not that it could not be read.

Parameters

This endpoint takes no parameters: no path parameters, query parameters or request body. For the authentication header (x-auth-token) and on-behalf-of header (x-on-behalf-of), see Authentication and Signing.
