Member details (KYC level and restriction status)

GET /v1/members/{id} scope: members:read
Merchant account

The path accepts both identifier types: your own external_member_id or our mem_<uuid>. An identifier returned by an API must be usable to query it.

kyc_level is resolved conservatively only: if L2 is approved but L1 is not, a data anomaly, it is reported as 1 rather than 2. Otherwise you would treat someone without approved L1 as fully verified.

⚠ Unified platform KYC has an unavoidable information consequence: if a newly created member has already completed KYC elsewhere on the platform, you immediately see kyc_level: 2. The mitigation is returning the result only: original profiles and images never leave the platform, and we never disclose which merchant performed KYC.

Not returned: internal relationships such as promotion paths / referrers, platform-level restrictions, risk flags, or KYC profiles and images. status contains only merchant-level status.

Path Parameters

FieldTypeRequiredDescription
id string Required Your external_member_id or our mem_<uuid>. Selected strictly by the mem_ prefix, with no fallback. Do not use an external_member_id beginning with mem_, or this endpoint will always return 404 for that member.

404member_not_found: nonexistent members and members belonging to another merchant receive the same response. Distinguishing them would enable cross-merchant member probing.
