What They Handle
- Signing, including the commonly missed PATH component
- Retries: retry 504 with the same idempotency key; never retry business failures
- Amounts: always handled as strings, never converted to JS number / Python float
What They Do Not Handle
- No tokens cached to disk; tokens belong in memory
- No automatic pagination; you decide when cursor pagination stops
- No swallowed errors; business failures are propagated so you can branch on

Amounts: One Pitfall in Each Language
